We encourage submission from all disciplines, including (but not limited to) psychology, philosophy, sociology, engineering, education, anthropology, arts and architecture. Some possible relevant topics are the following:
- Robotics in Education and Learning: Early childhood education, school learning, language learning, computational thinking, cognitive development, theory of mind, inclusion, edutainment
- Teacher Education and Professional Development: Continuing Professional Development , Initial Teacher Education, educational environments
- Human-Robot Interaction and Cognition: anthropomorphism, affective robotics, robots for cognitive and physical therapy, artificial cognition, robots and AI, 4Es cognition, perception, theory of mind, human explanation and robotic behavior, attribution of mental states to robots
- Ethical, Philosophical, and Social Dimensions: Epistemological, cultural, anthropological perspectives, epistemology of child-robot interaction, ethical and social perspectives on the use on new technologies
- Technological and Methodological Innovations: Robotics technologies (AI, large language models), cyber-human-physical systems, educational environment modeling, and innovative learning spaces.
Regular Talks
Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract through Easychair. The extended abstracts must be written in English, with a maximum length of 6000 characters including references (APA format).
The extended abstract must clearly state the objectives, theoretical framework, main arguments (theoretical or/and experimental) supporting the thesis, discussion and conclusions. You can find a suggested template here.
Easychair accepts PDF files. To submit an extended abstract, you will need to log in to Easychair, fill in the text fields with the required information (*) and upload the abstract PDF file. (*) v. In the text field "Type of submission" select "Extended abstract".
When submitting an abstract, please anonymise it by removing from the PDF file all the authors’ data (names, affiliations, email address).
Non-anonymised abstracts will be automatically rejected.
The abstract will be subjected to double blind review with one possible round of revisions. The Scientific Committee will make the final decisions based on the reviewers’ reports.

Each talk will last 30 minutes (20 for the talk + 10 for questions and answers). Talks will be given in English.
Post conference proceedings
Following the conference, CRI25 speakers will be invited to submit full papers for publication in forthcoming special issues of international journals.
Poster sessions

Teacher training workshops
Workshops are mainly addressed to teachers, educators, operators in the social, health and educational areas, in formal and non-formal contexts.
The CRI25 conference will host teacher training workshops with the aim to offer to the participants insights on the conference themes, through experiences and critical discussion on a specific topic.
The workshops will be held in presence. The official language will be Italian. Each workshop is expected to last 3 hours. All required materials must be provided and prepared by the workshop proposer.
The workshop proposal should follow the guidelines of this template. It has to be written in Italian or English, and submitted in PDF format.
Once you have prepared your workshop proposal according to the above template, you need to submit the proposal in EasyChair through the following steps.
- Click on "New submission"
- Enter workshop's author(s) / organizer(s)
- In the field "Title", please, enter the title of the workshop
- In the field "Abstract", you may simply enter a reminder to the attached file (e.g. “See the attached workshop proposal”)
- Please fill in the "Keywords" field with at least three keywords
- In the field "Topics", select the relevant topics
- In the text field "Type of submission" select "Workshop proposal"
- Upload the PDF file by clicking on the "Select file" button
The decision on workshop selection will be made by the CR25’s Organizing Committee.
